Limiting access to universities
The Iranian government in a new effort is trying to decrease the number of Iranian womenentering the universities. Since, sixty percent of Iranian students in unversities are women, they, instead of trying to make jobs opprtunities for them, are trying to limit their access to universities. Their excuse is that, the investment on women’s education doesn’t have any interest because most of them don’t participate in labour market after graduation. Ofcourse, they don’t point out that the limited number of women in market is for the pathriarchal system which dominate in market in Iran and because the employers, in governmental and private sector, prefer to hire men instead of women.
