I’m Leila Mouri, once a women’s activist and still a feminist. I started my work as an activist and also as a journalist with Women In Iran website ( the first Iranian website on women’s human rights in Iran). Right now, I’m a PhD student of Middle Eastern Studies at Columbia University in NYC and my field of interest is Gender and Sexuality in Post-Revolutionary Iran. I started this blog to write on social events and cultural issues in Iran specially those related to women.

I think women should be allowed to express thier sexual feelings without restrictions and I would love to support iranian women achieve this freedom
